Tax filing deadline extension
To increase liquidity in economy, the Revenue Department decides to extend the deadline of tax filling as follows;
- For filling of personal income tax return (P.N.D.90 and P.N.D.91), new deadline of tax filling online is 30 June 2021 in lieu of 31 March 2021. The cabinet also approved an exemption of personal income tax for 2020 for those who received financial assistance from relief packages “Co-payment Scheme”.
- For filling of withholding tax return (P.N.D.1, P.N.D.2, P.N.D.3, P.N.D.53, and P.N.D.54), new deadline of tax filling is within June 2021 in lieu of within February 2021.
- For filling of value added tax return (P.P.30 and P.P.36), new deadline of tax filling is within June 2021 in lieu of within February 2021.
It should be noted that the new tax filing deadline covers only for taxpayers who use electronic filing system to file tax return.
